i am always full of depression ,its hard to control

i really cant control it,i want to pretend that i am happy ,but its hard ,whats the reason,can i change it

I use to manage stress, listening musiq, playing violen and i like chocolates, and i feel i get refreshed after having my chocolates. And best remedy is Meditation, try breathing exercise, it will help you balance and handle stress.

yes! you can change it. it's all up to you and it's all in the mind. if you change your way of thinking your feelings will follow. it sure is hard to do. but if you add up prayers and God along the way, you'll be strong enough to fight it. or I'll suggest you go out and help other people who needs help more than you. don't focus too much on yourself when you're depress. I get depress sometimes. what i do is divert my attention or my mind to something productive. or go visit some friends and be happy. learn to love yourself. Pretending does you absolutely NO GOOD..so dont IMO..Whats the reason? Well assuming its NOT a chemical imbalance, only you have the answer and taking a long hard look at your life, whats gone on, whats goin on etc should help you figure it out then from there you can decide what you wnat to do about it BUT you have to be able to look at yourself, your life, the ppl around you etc etc WITHOUT blinders/rose-coloured glasses....HOWEVER it COULD BE a chemical imbalance which as far as I know can only be treated with medication....I would say your best bet is to go to your doctor and talk to him/her about it..

You have to find out what makes you sad. And why you feel this way. if something that triggers this sadness, you need to find ways to stop it from happening. There are other alternitives besides seeing psychiatrists and being medicated. Personally I dont think that even helps. I dont think people telling me that the way I think is wrong just becuase they make a certain observation. Its really up too you, How you look at things..how you see life..everyday is a new day..its up too you too make the choice on too the change the way you fell. But if OTHERS are making you depressed then you need to take those people out of your life. But I really could go on and on if you would like someone to talk to , you can send me a personal message

Depression isn't something that one can ignore or just pretend it isn't there. Everyone gets down but there is a big difference between being sad and down for a few days because of a tough situation and being truly depressed where nothing and no one matters. If you are going thru a tough time like losing a significant other or losing a job, then you should allow yourself some time to feel the loss and you'll regain your balance soon. However, if you are overwhelmingly depressed and are not able to cope then you should contact a doctor. Depression is an illness just like diabetes and just like diabetes there are medications and therapy that will help you manage it. It won't go away completely but it won't be in control. yes you can change it..sometimes we have lack of seretonin in our brains its nothing with us that we can't control by going to see our doctors..don't let it go to long, my doctor put me on cymbalta and it replaces what i lost in my brain..

i guess you can even without medicine. in my situation right now, i would say that im totally down, im pregnant, no job, the father left us yet my laptop and jewelry was also stolen few months ago then my so called real and trusted friends are also gone though i have 1 left with me and worst is, i only live alone and pay my expenses alone. if you can imagine about my situation right now. but then i tried to be positive, i was thinking that i can fix my life after giving birth and i promise myself to stand up and move forward til i will become successful. i know sometimes specially at night before i sleep i cant think but cry and think of those sad memories in the past. so what i did, i go out even if im alone and enjoy watching movie, eat outside then if i got tired, i come home then open my internet, be busy in mylot, browse anything and everything under the sun till i got tired and so when i lay on my bed i can easily sleep. just be busy with your life and forget about the sad moment, just think it as a lesson to learn and stand up for tomorrow like nothing happened.
