Who are your favorite characters on "Modern Family"?

This is a one of the funniest TV shows today, and I have pegged three characters as my favorites: The first one is Phil Dunphy. He's the one carrying the show. His dorky antics as the "cool dad" never fails to amuse me. I really like it if he's talking straight to the camera and feels all smart and cool. Phil's lines are ALWAYS funny. The second character I like best is Manny. He's wise beyond his years and his pudgy schoolboy appearance helps a lot in bringing out the charming irony. I like his interactions with his stepdad and his doting mother. The last one worth mentioning is Cameron. He brings the physical humor in the show and the weird thing about it is that I don't find them corny at all. The actor portraying Cam is really a genius for pulling off such a hyper character. I also like Gloria sometimes, especially if she's being random with her confessionals. My most hated character is Claire, but she can be funny too in the right situations (remembers the awkward escalator scene). The nice thing about Modern Family is that the large ensemble actually works. It's amazing how much laughter they can fit in a span of a half hour. This is clearly the BEST COMEDY this season.

Cam already became my favorite in the first episode. That part where he raised the baby, then a dramatic spotlight appeared, and "Circle of Life" plays in the background. That caught me off-guard and I had the best laugh of my life. I knew this would be my favorite show this season. I watched every episode ever since.

Hey inky! I love "Modern Family" too! It is a great show and really funny too! I like most of the characters that you picked too, but I like Manny's step-father (forgot his name on the show)! He is funny too! I think the whole cast pretty much works really well together! I do know that this is one of the most popular new shows this season and I am so happy! Glad that you agree too!

Yes. This is probably one of the most talented cast since Arrested Development. I think ABC struck gold with this one. I hope this show runs for a really really long time. I can't wait for their two-part season finale. I heard it's going to be a Hawaii escapade. I just know that episode will be fun to watch.

I haven't gotten to see a whole lot of the episodes this year. I joined the gym a little over a month ago and we go in the evening after we get the kids in bed. It's hard to pick a favorite character off the show. I really like them all. I think it's a great cast. They all have their own unique attitudes that make it work. I like Manny too. I remember the one episode he was drinking coffee or espresso. I really like Cameron too. I liked when he was dressing the baby up in different outfits. It is a funny show, I hope I'll get to catch the ones I missed when it reruns in the summer.

LOL. I remember one episode where Mitch said to Cameron regarding these baby costumes: "I was giving her a bath last night and I think I saw some bits of Martin Luther King behind her ear." Oh, and Mitch's comment when he saw Cameron flailing around after his bouquet caught fire: "Oh look! Two things flaming at once!" That was another LMAO moment. The writing team for Modern Family are really good. They're lucky they have a really talented bunch of people who fit these roles perfectly.

They are all very good and the actors are well suited to their roles. My favorite is Gloria, but then I'm a guy so you can probably figure out why. I like the way she says Jay. I do like Jay and the lines he has like "of course she did" and just about any of them that start with "of course" and the way they are delivered.

There is absolutely not one character that is not good. What an ensemble of talent on one show. The writers are great and I truly believe the interaction betweeen the gay couple is so hysterical. It is by far the best comedy show this season. Its one of the best that I have seen in a long time.

Yes, the writers know how to pique the interest of the viewers. I don't remember any episode where I lost my attention while watching the show. My favorite episode so far is Luke's birthday party where Cameron dressed up as Fizbo the clown. That was hilarious!
