Have you ever been to Colonial Beach, Virginia? It is a riverside resort town with the second-longest public beach in the state. It would be great to hear your opinions and comments if you have visited there.

I have never been, but it sounds interesting. I would also love to hear what other people say about this place. I am always looking for places to visit. This year I am going to Boston.

My family use to go to Colonial Beach all of the time; but we have not gone recently (I was probably 5-6 the last time we were there). I also remember stories that my mom and grandma would tell of going to Colonial Beach. They would recount it when it was a booming place to go and had lots of tourist attactions. Maybe I should make plans to go see how things have changed in all the years. Is it still booming? Or have you been recently?
