That's what I've just read in my horoscope.(Not that I set great store by such things) How does that work then??? If I'm expecting it, it wont be a surprise will it?? I'm sure you must have other similar examples whether from horoscopes, instructions or just things people have said to you.

Hiya Wizzy, Well it might be another sort of surprise that you might never expect. Hope it´s a nice one though. Those kind of surprises are always nice the nice surprises I mean not the nasty ones they can go for a walk and never come back. I read my Horoscope sometimes but they always seem to see me as one who can´t make my mind up ever. When the real truth is I always have to make my own mind up every day of my life. I have taken the reigns in this House many many times so they must be writing about someone else (grin). If someone turns up outside your Door in a big posh car and wads of money for you then that is a surprise is´nt it? See that could happen you never know.

I did once win a car... now that WAS a surprise. it must've been about 16 or 17 years ago now. I was sad to see it go a couple of years back but it was costing more for repairs than its value.

I just used to enter loads of competitions... I had a 'years supply' of cadbury's chocolate, theme park tickets and a few grocery vouchers. I also had some useless rubbish like a 'SPAM' cook book and some pond treatment (I dont have a pond!)

Maybe your surprise is the sun rise? lol enjoy your surprises. I do not set store in horoscopes either. I believe they are so vague they could apply to anybody! Now, if you have a sick sense of humor, here are some better horoscopes - http://www.theonion.com/content/horoscope/mar-09-2010 mine is Taurus Apr 20 - May 20 Fear and Jealousy will soon tear you apart, which is rather unfortunate, as Fear and Jealousy are the two pitbulls that live next door.

Reading a horoscope is a joy itself for me. If I get something nice like "very pleasant surprises today" I'll just be happy that my star sign say something good would happen to me and forget about it until something does happen. Maybe you will win the lottery. Wouldn't you still be pleasantly surprised even if you know about it already?

That's it... once it tells you to expect it, it cant be a surprise can it?

Yes, its been good here to. I went out for a walk around 7.30am and then did half an hour in the garden before breakfast. We took the dog out for a walk and then I did a bit more gardening. Its getting on for 6pm now & its quite chilly but, yeah, its been nice and sunny.

I've had some interesting fortune cookie predictions before. But yeah that's funny about not being a surprise if u know about it.

Ah, in my opinion these horoscopes are very wrong places to search for logic from. They all have very general info, like "Something will happen today" or "You will talk to somebody today". Very failproof statements, they talk about the things that are nearly 100% likely to happen. I don't believe in horoscopes, I rarely read them just for fun.

do you believe all this stuff that you read in the daily horoscope? they are just quacks to make people think that there is really something good or bad that will happen to them today. well, i don't say that it won't, but i am sure that in more than 90% of the cases actually nothing said from the horoscope(actually from the people who have written it) is true! they always say some common things that actually happen every day and the chance to happen today is very big. they never say something concrete like for an example "today you will meet you old friend Ivan from the primary school" or "today you will get a promotion"! they always say "today you will meet someone/ someone new to you" or "today you will have success at work( but what exactly?)" or " today you will have troubles at work" and you go at work without any desire to work today, just because you have read that today something bad will happen to you at work. just like that what you have read today "expect some very pleasant surprises today"- what surprises actually? will you meet someone? or will you find something? i don't believe horoscopes and have never believed them

*(Not that I set great store by such things)* would suggest not I think. I just found it amusing since something that is expected can obviously not be a surprise. it wasn't even really relevant that it was a horoscope... it was the choice of words. Obviously, it stands to reason that the same thing is not going to happen to one twelfth of the worlds population on a given day so they have to make them deliberately vague enough that people who choose to have any belief can somehow twist them to reflect their own experiences.
