Should you give a bigger tip?

You engage the services of an urchin boy just to carry your luggage and tip him a pittance. He looks at you and says that that will not even get him half a peg. Would you give him more so that he gets his full peg?

The tip you give should reflect how much of a help he has been to you. If he's doing everything the usual way, giving him the standard tip is the better way. If he gets two customers, he can get his full peg, and i'm sure in a crowded place they get over twenty customers per day.
