What did you do when you received your first pay cheque?

My goodness! That was a very long time ago. I think I treated my family and friends with my first paycheck. I cannot recall much now.

when i had my first job and recieved my first pay check i was so thankful. i thought it was so great. i found that it was a perfect way of paying for my own things.

My very first paycheck I put into savings. I was a teenager and still living with my parents, so my expenses were quite low and I had the luxury of being able to build my savings that way. For my first job as an "adult" (ie, out of college), I used my first paycheck to pay rent and living expenses, and whatever was left over I saved.

I invest the 50% in more stuff for make more money haha , the economist rule, if you want more money invest or keep it in your pocket and the other 50% i spent it in shopping :) I was so happy too, i bought clothes.
