I really like this saying because really a true friend comes to your rescue even if you are not in contact with each other for many days.Like I was in a bad crisis and somehow my college friend with whom I was not in contact for almost 2 years came to my rescue.He somehow came to know about my problem and came to my rescue.

I totally love that saying too, friend! I only have few friends but when i make friends i truly treasured our friendship. If they need my help, i am willing to do so if there's something i can do. But sad to know that some of my treasured friends suddenly changed when they meet new friends. I dislike forgetting my old friends.

There are just some friends which unconditionally give their time and effort for you. This is what I call true friendship. Even if you are not too much close or you have not talked for a long time, when they come to you whenever you need them, it is basically one fact that makes a good definition of true friend.

Yeah, a true friend will give you a ride to work or wherever when you need one.
