because all in excess is bad... how much time do you spend watching TV?

as we know, all in excess become a bad habbit, like watching tv in excess, forgeting the life and just spending hour and hours in front of the tv!
some people, would have problems in his/her eyes when they spend hours in front of tv, and more technologies, like PC!
sometimes, we would forget things we need to do because the tv cathced our attention..
how much time do you spend watching tv?
personaly, i dont have enough time to watch tv because usually i dont stay home, so when i arrived, and have the dinner and im going to bed, in this moment i turn on the TV until i feel im sleeping, and just in this moment i turn off and contiue sleeping! but i spend more hours in front of the PC than Tv, so my doctor recommended me to use glasses when i feel tired, just to fell better!

I actually am only able to watch 1-2 hours of television a day. During the day I have the children here and I keep our television on at a very low level for them with children's programming on that I don't personally like to watch. Then my husband comes home in the evening after he gets off of work and watches the stuff that is interesting to him, another thing that I don't really have an interest in. Finally, after everyone else is in bed I'm able to watch something that is interesting to me while I get ready to go to bed.

Hi Alilin,
I don't watch a lot of television, I guess hardly on a daily basis and if I do I get bored fast and turn the TV of within half an hour. There are however shows I do like a lot and I will watch those fully. I don't like commercials so if I can buy a series, movie or documentary I like on DVD, I will most likely do that. Narrowing down the number of hours I watch television even more by doing so.
Because of my studies, mylot and keeping track of e-mail I do spend a lot of time behind my laptop. I have a special laptop standard that tilts the screen so that I don't get a tired or cramped neck.

Hi friend,
I think I spend a lot more time at the computer than at the TV. I think that probably I watch about 1 hour a day (one day with the other). I have my TV st in my bedroom so I watch it when I want tolie down a bit. I don´t have television any place else in my house. I like to talk when I have company or even listen to music when Im doing things around the house.

in reality i don't spend much time daily or weekly watching tv programs and something others on tv!!I am nto a tv dependent as may be other people who likes so much some shows or tv programs!!In some cases there are days that i did not switch on my tv at all!!

Unfortunately I must admit that at my house we watch alot of television. I have been trying to at least watch it together. So far so good. I work so much so that when I come home I just want to take a shower and veg out. Television does it for me. I am sometimes known as a couch potato. lol dl

I don't get to watch television anymore. why? because i have been busy making money online. i have been suffering from diabetes for a year now and i need money to hold up my medical needs.. i have stopped schooling and i don't have a job.. good thing, i discovered that there's money in blogging.thanks to my partner's elder sister who helped me put up my own blogsite.. i just turn the television on before going to bed.. it makes me fall asleep...

I work 5 days a week so on those days I come home and usually watch TV for about 3-4 hours before I go to bed.
On my days off my TV is on from the time I get up till I go to bed at night...unless I'm not home.
At least I'm not out and about getting in trouble

i watch tv for about 3-4 hours a day but it's on almost the whole day therefore i can still practically hear it all day. i am more often in front of my laptop than on the tv. before though, i used to have a tv on my bedroom so i always watch tv while online even though my focus is on the laptop. i just love hearing the tv especially in the middle of the night because it makes me less scared during the night and it keeps me awake. :D

I prefer active "search & play" on PC to passive "cycle & watch" on TV, so I seldom watch TV program except for news and sports. Sometimes I just close my eyes, leaving the TV turned on as a lullaby.

I rarely get to watch television not because I don't want to..but because my hubby has control of the remote 90% of the time and we rarely agree on the same shows..what I like he doesn't. SO I just spend my time online. Makes it alot less stressful that way. On busy day I don't watch television at all. I know I spend way to much time in front of my computer..but it doesn't talk back..lol
