How do I go about creating screen shots of anything I wish to. As many a time I am expected to send them for verification.

The simplest way I know is to hit SHIFT/PRT SC (sometimes ALT or CTRL also work) and that puts the whole of your screen onto your clipboard. Open up a graphics program (even MS Paint will work) and paste the contents of the clipboard - you can then trim the image down to displey just the bit that you need.

best to export as a jpeg, then import the jpeg into WORD for printing, or better still, Open Office Writer (free alternative to WORD which handles pictures better).

if you press the Print button on yout keyboard, titled (Print Screen), you will get the screenshot of whole screen. If you press ALT+ Print screen then you will get a screenshot of the window that is currently on top/opened in front

There are so many programs that take screen captures from whole screens, regions, specific windows, and more... I have used one called Snagit and is so good, if you search on software related sites you can find a lot more, much of them are free...
