Do Asian horror movies more frightening than the others???

Hello, for me yes. I've been watching horror movies before but I've never got any frightened than seeing these Asian long haired-white dressed ghosts that walks like a human zombie whew..I never forgot this Tale of Two Sisters that me and my boyfriend watched at the big screen..there was this seen when the ghost ( the long haired-white dressed one) entered the girl's room then crawl beside her bed then jumped into her holding this monster look while blood drips down her legs-because of that I'm sleeping with my sheet pulled up to my chin and pillows covering my head and my feet..I don't know but I had weeks of sleepless nights imagining that thing would just crawl and grab my feet or steal me from my bed -pathetic me haha..so I tried not to watch movies like The Ring, The Grudge or The Shutter for as long as I still love myself..=) How about you???
