The game/ application is very new. If I am not mistaken, it started March 3 only. I discovered this last week and started playing since then. You are the mayor and you are in charge of the city and you need to grow your population, buy leisures to make them happy and expand you city! I got hooked because I love arranging the city. At first I group the residentials and then commercial areas, and then it didn't look good I re-arranged then again. For the NTH time, I changed the look of the city again this morning. Who's into this appication? I am currently on level 18. :)

I don't play games on facebook simply because i don't want to be addicted to those games. it's only farmville that's the most famous games for me as far as games on FB are concerns. All my colleagues are addicted to it. They even discuss about it during lunch time.

You must have spent a lot of time watching over those crops. I heard they wilt if you fail to harvest it at the right time.

its perfect timing, my friend. there's a variety of crops you can choose to harvest after 3 days or after 4 days. depends on my schedule. i do not have to log-in everyday. besides, i can access internet everyday so there's no problem. the thing is, i played farmville so ahead of time from anyone else. farmville was not yet popular back then, but i am already playing it. my officemates and friends started playing only few weeks back, while i started playing since last year. that explains my higher level.

hi msfrancisco, once you start playing, you will get addicted to it. if you don't have the luxury of time, then you are doing the right thing, by NOT starting to play the game! because once you do, you will really get hook to it! :(

hi msfrancisco, then you are truly doing what facebook should be - networking! it is a networking site, and we are suppose check on our friends, message then, comment on their photos, our wall posts, etc.. but now these games/applications are interefering with the real purpose of this site! not that i am complaining, but sometimes i hardly have time to check on my friends because i am in a hurry to level up! :( by the way, what is your nickname? can i call you ms? or what should i call you? i guess francisco is your last name... regards,

yes francisco is my last name and ms is an initial of my first name and my middle name. to simplify things you can just call me winky. thanks for the affirmation about my response. i enjoy facebook because of getting and keeping in touch with my long lost friends and relatives. i love viewing their pictures. those old and new ones.

oh, that's bad! they should not do it during office hours.. in our company, it is very strict. they block the networking sites: facebook, twitter, friendster, and the likes. Even blogspot and forums are blocked. I think the only thing open is the multiply site, as needed in our line of business, then we have yahoo and other sites not related to social networking sites.

hello tutul, its okay, i know to some these games are not appealing at all! different folks, different strokes, as they say. playing is my stress reliever. it keeps my mind from worries for a while. it re charges me of my energies, and a therapy after a very busy day. thanks for the reminder, but i have a computer at home so i play only when i'm at home.. or during lunch break. happy mylotting!

It's the kind of game that you don't have to check all the time, so you wouldn't have any trouble mylotting and playing it at the same time. I do it all the time. I post at mylot while playing different games. I guess I'm just pretty good at multitasking.

Hi CK and Angela, how i wish i can do the same thing too just for the experience of it...playing the games in facebook. i never tried though i received lots of invitations to join lots and lots of games in FB but i never respond positively. it's time consuming and i just want to give more time to mylot hehehehe. i am a multi-tasked person too but not while doing mylot, i am watching TV, doing the laundry and watching over the kids especially during the weekends. like today i am on it!

I started playing this game just a few days ago. I'm at level 6 only, so I have a lot to go before I reach your current level. I am so hooked in this game! I love god games, and this game is a sort of god game. Another thing that I like about it is that you can expand your city and upgrade without the help of your friends on Facebook, unlike most other games there. I like having fun with friends on Facebook, but it's so frustrating when you can't do something just because you don't have enough friends playing the game you are playing.

hello there! it's okay.. even if you are at that level, you just take it slow. part of the fun is decorating you city and re-arrange them. there are new batches of things everyday, new features, new leisures and brand new gifts. have you noticed it? its fun!

that is very true.. plus of course, all the others have already been playing plenty of games they do not want to add another game since their time in FB is already consumed on their existing games... have you tried on the social city forum? there are plently of neighbor requests there. but of course, make sure that you consider privacy setting, just for an extra precaution..

Yes it's really fun. I've already rearranged my city lots of times. Right now I'm having trouble getting neighbors because this game is new and only a few people know about it until now. That's why I'm sending as many invites to the game as possible. I even talked to some people and asked them to be my neighbors. I can play without neighbors, but my game would progress faster if I would have lots.

hello gyn0007, welcome to mylot! hope you enjoy your stay here! :) the social city application is just new, it launches in beta just this march 2010. and there are still glitches, error in connection, sometimes page loading is very slow. but other than that, the game/ application itself, i find it interesting , fun and enjoyable. if you have the time, you may want to give it a try! you will surely like it. :)

hi brew2x... part of the fun is re-arranging your city right? there are new features now, new building, new leisures, and brand new gifts! however, sometimes the loading is quite slow, and connection is interrrupted at times - this part i really hate. but for the game itself, i love it!

You are right. playing games always releases tension from our mind. I have been a fond of playing games in my teen age and even in my early 20s also but now I hardly get time.

I remembered a game like that way way back, when I was still reviewing for my board exam. I don't know how it got to our computer. Maybe one of my brothers installed it in the computer. It got me hooked then. This was in around 2001. I don't know if this was the same game, only it is online now. I have an island where I can build anything I like, and I am actually building a city. I have to set-up the airport, the residential and the commercial areas, the entertainment and eateries, and everything in between what a city needs.
