Treatment that does away with bypass surgery!

There is an email in circulation that talks of a treatment:

The patient is given appx. 18 bottles of blood where in some medicines are injected along with it.
The blood cleans the system and removes all the blockages from the heart. The no. of bottles may increase depending upon the age factor and health of the patient."

I too have received this information in my mail. I think it is some sort of a gimmick in which certain group is trying to promote their business. All you know this could be a hoax. Last year one quack was offering all-purpose remedy for quite a substantial amount. He amassed a huge sum of money and one day law caught up with him. He is on run.
My daughter's father in law suffered from 90% blockage. His wife took him for a bypass surgery. Owing to his age and condition, Doctors refused to perform surgery. His wife took him home. It is already one year and he is quite healthy. He tells me that his heart has developed a new passage for carrying blood to his heart. Don't know if it is true because he did not go for another check up. He however did not take any medicine.
