The most weird love!

Just before a few days, a friend of mine tried to take his life. He was saved thankfully, but we were all left puzzled. As far as we know, he is a good guy with no bad habit of any sort. A most decent fellow, with a kind heart and happy-go-lucky nature. What made him commit suicide?
The facts have come out now. He had never shared those with me or any of his friends. He has been in love with a girl. It is an Online Love! He hasn't even seen the girl yet, neither has had any conversation with her over phone. All he knows about her is the name that she has told him and her e-mail ID. Wait... the most strange fact is that this has been going on for 5 years or more. He decided to give up on his life when this mysterious lover of his, has refused again to meet him, personally.
Well... I was like Gosh!! I wonder what made him fall for such a thing. Worse, what kind of girl it is, who promises everything on chat and then refuses to meet or even to call.. Have you ever come across any such thing? Please share...

Gosh thats a crazy, try to end your life because someone you never meet, Is your friend that lonely and feel no one will love her except that cyber girl?. Feeling sometimes can be so complicated, something thats weird for us maybe not for your friend. Help him ok!

Well... We are all puzzled about it yet.. He has not been a loner..Has a pleasant personality and is a hard working guy.. I wonder, how it got into clutches of this virtual girl friend... He is recovering now and the counseling helps him too..

If I were there, I'll just take a ride of life then move on with reality I mean who knows anyway that that girl is for real? You cannot rely solely on relationship built through internet or online really. My advise for him would be, he should move on because there's much more worthy women around him.

Hello Friend... Thanks for expressing your view. I definitely agree with you! No one is sure that whether it is a girl or some kind of freak and I am really angry with that person
. As to my unfortunate friend, his family has taken him to a counselor, I hope things will get better now.
I wonder, what kind of pleasure do these freaks get by fooling innocent people?

I've heard a couple of stories similar to these ones, except that these stories didn't have such tragical solution (thank God that your friend got saved). You know, it's easy to disguise yourself as anyone you want on the Internet. That "mysterious girl" could be anybody, it could be even some kind of enemy of your friend, who was just trying to mess his life up. Who knows. Just be careful about dating somebody over Internet!

oh yes, Love makes one do stupid things, like my friend did! He is better now and is going through counseling. I am not sure who was he chatting with. It is easy to hide one's real identity on the internet. I sometimes think that it was some guy chatting with my friend, pretending to be a girl. I am not sure though. We friends are doing some research about this mysterious person, and very soon, if the Almighty permits, we'll get hold of him/her... Thank you for your valuable response, my friend...
