When did the last time you were running/jogging?

The weather outside right now is awesome. Sun is coming out bright but the breeze is gentle and nice. I saw couple people passing by running/jogging. I ask myself when the last time I jogged. Seriously, long time ago. Probably back 5 or 6 years ago, when I really struggle to lose the weight. I might do walking with my kids. But run? So many excuses I can come out not to run. I wonder if I can motivate myself to get in shape this spring and summer. So how about you. Can you get yourself from the computer and do little running?

I myself went just this mrnigna dn plan on doing it every da from now on. I really missed running through ll those cold winter days and am back to teh real thing now (the tread mill just dosnt cut it for me). There are always so many excuses not to run and I started really only a year or two ago when I was upset about my weight and had a lot of aggression built up in me. It helped me get into better shape, feel better about myself, get healthy, and work out the anger and feelings in a good way. You dont really have to run, if walking with your kids is your thing then you should go ahead and do that. Walking is just like running just with a slower heart rate. I suggest trying just runnign around with those kids of yours while they play. Itll help you egt into the spirit, keep you healthy, have you with your kids, and teaching them that you can be healthy and keeops them into the routine off teh comouter and tv.

My kids love outside activity. THey usually swimming almost everyday in the summer. And walking to the park nearby our house. But just me running in the morning will need a lot of motivation to do so.

It's been like ages since i went jogging. The last time i did it was when i was still on college and that was more than 10 years ago. But i make sure that i walk a few hundred meters on my way to work every morning which i have been doing so for the last 10 years. I think walking is much healthier and it's not too tiring.

I don't know about jogging's benefits to the heart. In my own opinion, Jogging could even strain you heart.

I'm not into jogging to be honest, however I do enjoy a good run from time to time. The last time I went out running was last week along the beach. I thought it was a waste to let such brilliant weather go to waste, so I walked to the beach and decided to have a quick run to see how fit I was still.

It is getting to be sping in my area as well. In my neighborhood, there are a TON of people that walk and jog and bike around. Being the "dark-and-pessimistic" type, I absolutely hate seeing all these people hanging around in front of the house. I used to jog and run when I was in high school, but in the year or two since, I haven't jogged once. I've been out for several walks, but I think I'm done with jogging for now.

I live in Oregon, so LOTS of rain, lol!! I haven't been outside running in years. However, I do have a machine at home and I use that often (4-6 days per week.) With the nicer weather, I am outside more with my kids, but not really for exercise. I usually DVR my shows I like and then watch them while I workout. =)

That's nice to have the machine. My house just too small. And my kids already invaded most of them with their toys.

OMG! I certainly cannot remember when. I was pregnant and never did any exercises. I gave birth last Jan 8 and still I have never run or jogged. Oh this is embarrassing. I think I have to start running/jogging as soon as possible. I have to lose these extra pounds.

I live in a neighborhood where house owners let their dogs roam the streets. It's hard to jog around when you're being chased by a throng of hungry wolves, er, rabid dogs. Anyway, I wish I live in another neighborhood. Not having to jog in the morning is taking a toll on my tummy. I was once "smexy" but now I got flabs!
