Are you Checking How many comments Credited to you?

With information I got from our helping hands here in myLot, I know that aside from your posted and responded topics, a part of your total number right beside your username, e.g. primeaque86(499)are our credited comments.
Are you checking that? Or you just leave it grow without knowing how many comments you made are credited to your total number?
In my case, I have checked it twice now... before, a month ago, I got 14 comments credited, now about 37, so it's not bad at all... Aside from enjoying the discussions, you are still credited with it aside from your original response. It can help us aim to the first page of the top users someday... Isn't it wonderful to think about?

Hiya Prime.. I do notice, but I don't make it a point to check it out every now and then.. it's there to see and that's it. Actually can be quite cool...and it sorts of amazes me too.. like it felt like yesterday when I first started out here with nothing, really. And over the years, stuff accumulated, it's just so awesome. But friends are the real deal, I will always adore friends here.

Hiya zed...I have checked mine twice... I am happy for it... perhaps others would find it senseless but for me, it's part of the enjoyment and fun we've got here, am I right? But I respect their opinion... :-)
And I agree---friends are the real deal in this site... it's nice to see lot of your friends are enjoying their interaction with other...

Honestly,i don't look at it regularly.
I am having fun here in mylot,inter-action with friends,and i didn't pay much attention to my number.
The moment i log in here in mylot,first thing i check is...responses to my topic and also for comments back to my responses.
Then,i go on reading and commenting back,that,i don't have much time thinking or looking on my number.
I am so happy to see that,my number goes up,sometimes also down,that i don't really know about it
I just keep posting,replying and i even forget the time...how much time i've been spending here in mylot.

Verygood for you my friend... that's it... that's what I am doing too---having fun in here always...
Sometimes I got curious to calculate my numbers... and I am happy to see it grows...
When your number goes down, it means that your response was deleted because the original post was deleted or your discussion was deleted... but I guess you have no discussion deleted... That's great! You will know that if you are going to check your mails, their you will see some notifications...
But to ignore them and just keep posting is much better...

I will help you understand my friend. I had just received one notification now saying one of my answer is deleted because the original post is deleted.
It happens because the post violates the rule or the guidelines of myLot.
Perhaps I will ask you a favor to check your mail now, gamil or yahoo mail. There you can see a notification from mylot... Read the reason, then come back here... maybe I can give some explanations...
And another favor... you can visit the guidelines now so that you can understand... The admin is maintaining this site full of quality discussions...

I could understand it would be a little upset if you post the long comment there without paying much attention on the guidelines. I think what you are able to do is to wipe out the tears and read the guidelines again.
It is not a big deal for one discussion being deleted. I always lose the words when I finished typing as the network is broken.
Luckily, I could use the copy and paste function while my post is up to 500, then I learn to copy my comment first prior to summit. If the network is broken again, I would easily paste again.@jesusmyjoy (125)

Thank you very much, I did get a mail saying the comment was deleted because the question was deleted, what I DON'T understand the thing i comment on was right there in plain view.

You are right my friend... I am talking about that. That number is compose of your started and answered discussions plus your credited comments... but not all comments count... for now, keep up the good work, reach a hundred then you will see...

Indeed out number is made up of started discussions, responses on other discussions and comments too. The more the merrier!

I don't really pay attention, as I just do what I can when I am in here, without worrying about how many I have done. I find that when I just have frun and enjoy myself when I am in here, then I seem to do so much better than when I worry bout it. It really isn't about earning in here anyway, so why worry how many I really do Life is to short to be worrying all the time about things that are so trivial, and dont' really matter all that much anyway. Well, I really did not check that before. I think the digit beside the usename is only my posted and responded discussion without counting the comment that mylotter left. Thanks for telling about that.
I just watch closely on the earning daily. To be frankly, if you could be placed on the top users, ther will be good for your post quality.

I never count them... What do you mean by credited? Like that you have made yourself? Or that someone else has commented on your responses/discussions.
I don't count them that much, mostly I just respond and comment for the fun (and the earnings of course xD).
I don't know if I will start checking them out after a few weeks of membership... (I have only 3-4 days of membership)

As your number grow bigger, you can count them Ram. Every discussion you will start is equivalent to 1. It would be added with your total number. If you answer to a discussion started by other member, every response is equivalent to 1 also. But if you comment (To the response of your own discussion or barging on another discussion or commenting back at the comment of your response to another discussion), you will be credited to it and it would be added to your total number. Mysdianait in the first page has detailed answer of how your comment is being credited.
Now, back to your profile page, you can add your total started and answered discussions, and the remaining number that would complete your number e.g. Ramsesxlll(97) would be the credited comment. But if the started and added discussions would sum up exactly to 97, it means that you have no credited comments yet... :-)

I am not really sure Ram but let me tell you the secret on how to earn here more.
1. As much as possible always follow the do's and dont's of the guidelines... If you got deleted discussions, it would affect your earnings. And as much as possible, look at the discussions you are going to respond... if it's not violating the rules. If the post is deleted, your response too would be deleted as well.
2. Always start a quality discussions. Aim for several responses as possible. By doing that, request many friends and regularly visit their posts too and drop some valuable contributions. And always do what I am doing now, comment each response you receive from your own discussion.
3. Add many interests... posts a topic in each one of them if possible.
4. Respond to other discussion like what I have just mentioned. Make it always positive if you can... (But we have freedom of speech). And comment back like what you are exactly doing in my post right now...
The Secret to earn more is QUALITY...
(I have posted also important tips for Newbies, you can drop there... you can find it in my profile...)
Did I have tell you about the New-Improve-Mylot search box already??? And you can do task too, it would give you some cents...

I really did not know your comments can be credited. I just noticed that when you make a comment the number beside your username does not change. Well, thank you for the information about credited comments. There is always something to learn here. At least, now i know that you can also be rewarded (aside from the fun that you get) when making comments. So how can you check if your comments has been credited?

Go to your profile my friend... calculate all your started and answered discussions, then the remaining balance to complete your number are the credited comments... Mysdianait above explained in detail how our comments are credited to us...

hi p;riemaque86 no I really dont as I would rather spend that time actually posting things not counting how much I have done as that
takes way too much of my time with mylot loading as slow as it does.
I have a monthly internet bill to pay and mylot earnings pays almost all of it so i reallywork but I am also having a lot of fun too, as I do not think of earning but of sharing, and talking to all of my many friends here and learning something new every day. good luck and good bless.

i also don't bother myself to count these numbers. once i get on here, i only post and post and post, until i get tired. i response when i feel responding. i give my comments if i feel the same. but i never bother myself counting them everytime i open my laptop and log-on here. i do what i feel is enjoying for me. i do what i feel is giving me cents to add up to me earnings.
