its actualy great this time cause six nations have entered the quaterfinals for the first time since 1998...lookin at the draw if manu or bayern make it to the semifinal they hav easier matches...and the irony for me is that two of my favourite teams are gonna play against each other..arsenal vs barcelona..but im gonna root for arsenal coz they are an exceptional club which doesent belive in buying talent but nuturing it !

Hi Nemonezonicamidecus, That is very interesting pairing. All pair seem to have something in common or some business to settle. I can not ask for more from this draw. The most interesting pairing is Arsenal versus Barcelona. Both team known to be a great passing or one touch team. And they play just like total football concept. It is a pretty balance pair. The only different is Arsenal do not trust much their goal keeper and Barcelona defender is questionable. I think the winner from this pair is the team that has less injury list and do not make much mistake on the match day. My bet : Barcelona Manchester United versus Bayern Munich is more to the old time since 1998/99 season. Manchester United beat Bayern Munich 2-1. Both Manchester United goals scored during injury time. Even though they have meet a few times and Bayern Munich already defeat Manchester United, the memory of 1998/99 still hunting them. Base on current performance my bet will be on Manchester United. There would be match between the old guard of France against the up coming one in the Lyon versus Bordeaux. Since the introduction of new format in 1992/93 season, Lyon was the only team from France has manage to qualify for quarter final but never reach the semi final. Even though Bordeaux is the current leader of Ligue 1, my bet on Lyon because of their experiences. Internationale Milano versus CSKA Moscow is between the two team which never (as far as I am concern) qualify for the semi final since 1992/93 season. This match is between the stoutly strict defense against wild and unexpected attacking side. The leader of Italian football meet former champion of Russia. My bet : Inter Mila. - Barcelona vs Arsenal = Barcelona - Manchester United vs Bayern Munich = Manchester United - Lyon vs Bordeaux = Lyon - Inter Milan vs CSKA Moscow = Inter Milan Semi final ??? Final ??? Champion : Puyol receive the Champion League trophy from Perez (President of Real Madrid) and lift it in front of thousand Real Madrid supporter. What a shame day for Real Madrid.

Arsenal Vs. Barcelona is the standout match of the quarters. Two of the world's best passing game teams go head to head. I expect it to be a very good game of football. The other one that is intriguing is Man U vs. Bayern. I think Bayern could be the underdogs this season and have the capacity to surprise Man U especially at the Allianz arena. Inter probably has got the best deal of the lot and France has made sure that at least one of the two teams would definitely make it to the semis. Cheers! Ram
