Hi, I'm using a netbook running on Linux Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala
I'm planning to install Ubuntu Remix
I'd like to know what are the pros and cons of doing this and how is it?
I'm using a Neo Netbook with Atom Processor N270
Any feedback would be very much appreciated

Basically the packages are same, but WITH additional packages that will modify the look to make it netbook-friendly. Overall it's not bad, it's good and very optimized for 1024x600 resolution. You should try it, it will run better than XP :)

In reality i have not feedback about ubuntu remix on netbooks!!also ebcause i don't own a netbook and so i did not pose to em the problem and i took the 9.10 version from ubuntu!!From an external view and impression seemed nice as os to use on your netbook...but thi is just an impression!!i think that ifyou use ubuntu normally on your laptp or desktop even the remix version should be in ubuntu style even for these devices!!
