Hello everyone, Today I was skiming through my mp3 player and I notice that majority of my songs were "sad" songs. Most of them are about break up or losing someone or why can't we love again kind of songs. You guys knows what I mean. NO I am not in a sad mood, I just find it interesting that these sad songs, as well as love songs are actually really good songs. My question is.. why is it that half of the time these songs are so goooddd to listen to (compare to others)? It is because us humans have this thing to sense saddness? We simply just wired to like listening to things that are sad? to grief among? Just my thought. So tell me forums, why are sad songs good? And if you don't agree, share me your thoughts as well.

Hi! I think sad good is not the good song. Before this i always sad because of something and feel life is not unfair. Beside that i always said like that because I also always listen to sad song. I listen to them because feel a sad people must only listen to sad song and I feel more sad and stress. One day my friend open a happy song and I listen to it. Then i feel more happy and my spirit come back to my life. So if you sad try listen to happy song.Have a nice day.

Songs are meant to entertain. It usually those who are sad and depressive turn to music to console their hearts to keep their sanity intact. The lyrics in sad songs are geared towards people who are emotionally down.
