I flunked romantic

I just mentioned in one of my friend's discussions about how I really rather flunked romantic. Having said that, I REALLY wanted Alice to stay with the Hatter. Or at least find a real world Hatter like the sisters doing the Tweedledee and Tweedledum routine. Like she saw the blue butterfly... Mind you, I have, once again fallen in love with Johnny Depp... **sigh** I see fanfic already!!! Mind you, I really DON'T see slash, but who I am I to say? I don't see too much of the slash-y stuff the other see...

Ok, I am not following at all. I do know the story though so are you saying this most recent version has a romance between Alice and the Hatter?

it was clearly implied that there was some serious affection between the 2 of them, and the Hatter asked her to stay - honestly, I might've for him...

nope, never saw 21 Jump Street, but I think Edward was my favorite, some how, in spite of his age, I still get that tormented innocent from him. Well, not as Capt Jack Sparrow, that's just a whole lot of tormented and not a whole lot of anything else - but I like the crazy of him, scary, but sexy...

ROFLOL! I liked Johnny Depp best in Chocolat. Most of his movie roles are guys who are weird or "troubled" in some way. Did you ever watch 21 Jump Street?

Hi Elic, I have seen extracts of the movie on the tv and I 'm sorry to say, I don't like it, it would give me nightmares to watch it, it just so ugly, lol! just saying. Tamara

I didn't find it ugly, some parts were really pretty in fact - granted some parts were bad/sad, but on the whole it was just strange, but Alice in "underland" should be strange, don't ya think?

Hi Elic, Guess I.m just old fashion and prefer the old version that I grew up with, I'm strange, lol! Tamara

I haven’t seen the movie yet but I will because I want to see anything that Johnny is in! He is lovely isn’t he? I’ve flunked romance big time and I have given up trying! I don’t think romance is for some people and I’m one of those people I’m afraid, so I give up, I let my husband be who is he is with no expectations because I doubt he will ever give me all that I need, I’ve had to learn to give myself what I need!

but see, you have a husband - I'm such a cynic I don't even have one of those! And the one "love" story I wrote is... well... not exactly romantic... Lets just say, she married him to stop him from getting himself killed...

I know, and his Hatter was just so special - tho I gotta say that the cat was really special - finally got him pretty right!

I like Johnny Depp also. I like to see anything that he is in! I think he looks really handsome in that white face paint. He looks handsome all of the time, but not everyone looks good in that kind of make-up. I have not seen this movie yet. If it has romance in it, it must not be like the original. I don't really like slash movies either, my ex used to like them and we would see a lot of them. They are pretty much all the same.

Slash as I'm talking about it is... well... its like this... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kirk/Spock and they do it with just about any "buddy" show these days, heck they even do it with shows that you have to stretch for the "slash" pairings... **erk** Alice is now a young woman in this movie - its not a remake, its a sequel to the stories
