How do you use stumbleupon?

Hi fellas,
is anyone here a member of stumble upon? gee seems I'm really stumbling lol. okay kidding aside, I do not how to use their toolbars I cant seem to add friends just subscribe button. Then I don't know how to spread the word of something I stumbled upon. I feel like a complete idiot, I feel so lost and helpless with this site. How do you use it? lol and How do you tell the whole community about something you posted? Thanks guys.

I use stumble upon as a bookmarking site. Then I came across another feature where I can add a site. I added mylot referral link there. I think it is going to work.
