Is there any way to tweak the myLot search engine?

I've been using it for my writing research but I'm frustrated with the results it returns. For example, if I'm researching a physical condition it will give me places to buy medicine and herbal remedies or give me blogs, etc. Is there any way to set preferences for this search engine? I never did like Yahoo search, it seems to be for people who aren't looking for a lot of detail.

dragon54u, can you give me a specific example - or even more than one - of something you've searched for and found results that were unsatisfactory?

wow! Alice is certainly on the ball. doing a wonderful job here. i wonder if she ever sleeps? they/she has made so many great improvements here. i bet it gets fixed up soon. maybe we will have the best search ever here thanks for addressing this Dragon. WTG, Alice!!
