Yes i feel guilty when i cross my budget and this i feel when i buy things for me. Usually i do shopping for my family. And i cross my budget. But then i feel good. Actually i stay abroad and my father send me money for me. He always send me money as he afford me. When i cross the budget then i feel that he work hard so much and i waste his money.

Hi.. I am not a compulsive buyer. Make a plan on what you really need to but. It takes a little discipline not to buy too much. Learn to spend your money wisely and try learn how to save and buy only on things that you really need. Do not feel guilty at all, instead use that feeling to do whats next and whats best for you.

hi ksmita Not any more as I am on a limited budget so have to be sure not to spend more than I can afford, that way no guilt trips. I used to spend more freely but now I have to pay for internet and phone so they are important enough for me that I budget for them accordingly. I cannot spend freely as I only have so much money, spend it all I will not be able to pay my bills.

well ksmita, i used to be like that in my younger days. bought one pair not enough, as it sales time and going cheap. in the end i ended up like as you mentioned 3 pairs. i have 1 pair of feet and i dont really need that extra 2 pairs but anyway. first there is the storage rak problem as too many pairs of shoes. some of the seams of the shoes give way, way too soon.at times, the colour fades. now, i wise up, i buy excatly what i want and no more unless with the same budget, i can stretch to buy other stuff. yes, well within control after countless mistakes and regrets. mistakes are painful. i feel i cannot afford to make unwise decisions and impulse buying. i have come a long way and an now a more disciplined person. so i am sharing my piece so that you no longer make the same mistakes like i did. cheerio. be wise and budget conscious.

I always feel guilty that's why when I exceed more than my budget, I already think of ways on how to cope with the excess and the lack in another thing. I always think that I should deduct a certain amount of money from other things. I can usually cope with it but I just cant help myself of how to put more money in my pocket.

Yeah this feeling is familiar to me. Usually I do it when I just want to make something for myself. I don't have many opportunities to do something that's only for me, so I start shopping. I feel good when I buy something just because I like it, not because I need it. At at the end when I take a look at my bank account I feel guilty because I spend the money for me. It's kind of closed circle.

Hi Smita... This is not very uncommon incident.. It happens with everyone and mostly with ladies... ;) It has happened to me a lot of times, wherein I had decided to spend only 1000 bucks for shopping and ended up paying more than 5000 . I also felt guilty after that and it generally takes a little time to come over that feeling. Look, it has happened and now it can not be undone... So why worry about it? You've shopped for yourself with your own money... Only that you have spent more than you had decided to spend... Why regret it? Have fun!

LOL. I remember my almost same situation. I was searching for a certain skirt but I ended up buying three because I found two cute skirts. I felt guilty afterwards, I have experienced similar situations after that., I just couldn't stop myself if I saw something that haunts me.

I rarely go over my shopping budget.if I do,I try to lessen my next shopping spree.I don't want to overspend and drain my bank accounts with shopping.I would rather shop with a certain amount and keep my ATM card at home.it takes me some time to shop because I think real hard if I really need an item before deciding to buy it.

Yes i feel guilty sometimes when i shopping more than my budget.. but i don't take any tension.. because if you take tension then all time you think about that you may waste of money.. so don't take any tension and be careful in future when you again planned for shopping.. have a nice day and keep mylotting always...

Of course I do! beside I will lose much money, my husband usually gets angry to me. sometimes it's hard for me to control my passion in shopping, that I should live without money at all in the end of the month. It's so sad, but watching fancy goods in a supermarket always make me wanting to buy..and buy..fyuuhh..
