skechers shape ups

Has anyone bought the Skechers Shape Ups? What do you think of them? Do you think they provide all of the benefits that they promise? Do they help to improve your posture? or make you feel more energized? or firm up your abdominal and leg muscles as well as your gluts?
How about the Reebok EasyTone? Are they any good? Can anyone tell me if they are as good as or better than the Skecher Shape Ups?

Personally these are not something I would consider for myself, as I do not see what advantage they would bring for me, but my Mother In Law has a pair, and she does a lot of walking, and raves about them. To me, they seem way too expensive and not something I would benefit from, but hey for others they could work. I think they need to find a way to allow a trial basis on them like a Rental or some sort, and then let others decide from there. Could sell a lot more in the long run for sure.
