What's the difference between an imax and a regular 3d cinema? All i know is that an imax is more than just a 3d set up although only a few scenes are 3dized. And also they are bigger than usual screens... other than that...well...that's what i wanna know...

An IMAX screen is bigger and curved, so that the image really fills your field of vision. An IMAX screen is usually about 5 stories high! Digital 3D is on a regular sized movie screen. So both will give you a 3D image, but the IMAX image will probably be a more intense experience as you may get the sensation of "motion" etc while watching the IMAX film. - I got this info from Yahoo Answers!
