How often do you check your teeth?

I had a tooth check yesterday and the doctor pulled 2 decayed teeth. She told me the teeth could have been preserved if I had check my teeth twice a year. But I remember the last time I did the checking is 3 year ago... It's not enough to just bursh teeth twice everyday becase it does not prevent teeth comprehensively and teeth may still get bad if they are not checked regularly. It has been too late when we feel pain and ask for help from the dentist. So why not taking action right now?

I ussually go to a doctor at least six month. So, in one year I just check my teeth two times. Because I do not want to have a toothache that would make me very uncomfortable.

yes thats true teeth must be check twice a year though i only check once a year sometimes im too lazy to go to the dentist coz sometimes the dentist only scared me like my teeth are like this and like that. i know that they are just doing their job but sometimes i just feel so irritated to think about it.

I have my teeth checked/cleaned every 6 months.. the last time I had no cavities. but before that I did need some work done.. It is always best to get it done before they become very painful.

I just had my teeth checked last fall. Before that it was also about three years before my last check up. And yes, there were a lot of things that needed to be done. After cleaning, they found a cavity which was causing me numbing pain. In a couple of months I would go back. I'm sure they will be calling me again to set up an appointment.
