there are many ways to earn money online. i think that writing online is a great way to earn money. there are alot of writing sites where you will be able to write and earn. i have tried afew out. some of them did not work out for me very well though. so i tried out some different ones. i use triond it works pretty okay with earning. although i have not really earned all that much from it. well, best of luck with earning.

yes, you can get some money from online activities but if you want to get enough so that you don't have to work then I think it is not enough or at least you should have some online business or to be a part of the internet marketing, which is not for everybody! well, there are some article writing paid sites, but beware, because many of them don't pay nothing and you can waste your time with those sites!

Yes there are some sites where they pay you to do articles or write short stories for them. Some sites can ask you to review some products for big companies while some sites actually pay for you to socialize with other members through chat and/or discussions! Hope this helped!
