Economic situation in the U.S.

I am concerned that our politicians are playing darts with our economy. They make attempts at changing things with no idea of what they are doing. Give everyone insurance. How is it going to be paid for. What about the people with insurance - how is that going to effect them. To me to much of the problem exists wit the insurance companies and law suits. I feel that I have worked all my life and ultimately with get a kick in the butt. Then the politicians cater to the special interest groups and that makes no sense at all. We were all better off 50 years ago.

I believe we were all better off 50 years ago, too, and we thought we were having it rough back then, lol
. What concerns me is how those of us who are living on social security/ssi are going to make it. I get Medicaid. How is it going to effect the Medicaid program? I try not to worry about it too much because I have a problem with worry, anyway, and to me, it's not worth losing sleep over. Kathy.
