How would you tackle your problem? A lawnmower, maybe?

Just a metaphor that I have recently... Wish i have a lawnmower to even out things and take my time to solve them one by one... Better than having my problems sticking out of everywhere and every time when you are not looking! My parents' house is facing mortgage problems. Our housing board has issued a warning letter that we have to move out soon. My dad owns them an amount of money. He still owes one of the credit card company some money. One of my brothers has a chance in University. The (Build-to-order)flat/apartment I applied for is almost completed where it should be completed in 2012 February instead... I have to produce my marriage certificate in 3 month's time, way off my course of plan. I don't have enough money to hold a traditional Chinese dinner that my family, including my relatives, is expecting. My mum's health is not looking good. I can't ask for any more raise since my boss has just raise a hundred bucks in January. To add to all the above, my boyfriend has just submitted his resignation letter before all the above episodes. Sign. A lawnmower would come in handy, don't you think so? So.. I am not asking for solutions. I am just asking if you can use something to help you tackle your problems, what would it be and why?

Actually, I also experience an emotional trouble problem that I'd wished world scientists invented a device to eradicate problems once and for all, but after contemplating hardly on my destiny, I slowly realized that problems did not come up to punish us but to remind us that as mortals we have to undergo series of test and trials in life in order for us to become a stronger person. It is a part of every life cycle on earth, to be happy in a moment, then sad the next day then get up and bounce again. It is always depends on the right mind set and disposition how we tackle our problems, though troubles and clutters underneath are normal, these can be handle wisely if we have a strong faith in God and a heart of a warrior. God bless you

i really wish you are right about the faith in God and the heart of a warrior... but sometimes luck plays a part too. Believing it works, wanting it to work, and have done my best to make it work why? because I lack the right opportunity, the right time and the right essence to make it work correctly in order to solve the problem. Problem now is it multiplies monthly. I need more time.

I don't think a lawnmower would help you now. With all of your problems seemingly coming at you at every angle. I think what you need now is the good ol' pen and paper. So you can write and list all your problems down. Seeing them written might help you prioritize them. And ultimately, tackle them one at a time. Goodluck!

i don't just write, i even typed it in my mobile phone, my laptop notes... what's the use?? i have all of them listed everywhere to remind me all the time. And yet I know money can solve majority of them and i can do nothing much about it. I need a lawnmower to just buy me more time to earn and save more money. if only time can just pause. or deadline don't just keep sprouting out.

Seems like all your problems are coming to u, at the wrong timing!! Problems are there to be solved and adversity makes one stronger, as well as your relationship stronger ^_^ Lawnmower will only even things out for the time being, but it will grow again, before u realise it.. So the best thing to do, is to get rid of the root, so as not to let it happen again ^_^ Do whatever is the priority, one by one ^_^

I know getting to the root of the problem is the best way to solve things.. but the root of all my problems is money at the present time. with money, i can solve nearly 80% of it. The only thing I can think of is saving as much money as I can since switching a job now is not an optimum solution, as I may lose my only source of income in the process... which can make matters worse. At least the lawnmower can buy me some time to solve one problem at a time...

I don't think a lawnmower will help. Try a firehouse, at least that will make all the problems dissolve much faster. That is what i am trying out right now. Good Luck.
