Sometime i fear that my discussion will be deleted

While posting discussion i always have a fear of my discussions being deleted this is not because mylot has very strict rules and guidelines. This is only because i am a new user and do not know and understand the giudelines perfectly. This fear could be because the language and the topic of discussion i post be very different and may look like against but never have this in my mind to post such topic but the fear never leave me. Even if i am posting a simple discussions i check twice or sometimes thrice to see if i had used any language against the guideline of mylot.

Take it easy, it's just talking, not fight.
I'm new also, newer than you, just choose the discussion you like, and tell others what you think.
But I can understand you, I always keep my eyes peeled whatever I do.

Yes there is not muc difference in you and me we both are on the same boat. This is what i have learnt in my mylot experience is just keep watching yourself and try to avoide breaking guidelines and everything will be fine

I also belong to the same category as even now I sometimes wonder if my discussions will be deleted. There is nothing we can do about it as there is a lot of ambiguity here but as you go along you will learn. I am still learning!!

It's good that you abide by the rules, and take care when starting a topic. Read up on the rules hun, and you will be fine. I found it was better for me to respond to discussions for a while, until I got the hang of MyLotland, it won't take you long to get used to.

Yeah, truthfully, I think most people on MyLot have had at least one topic deleted for one reason or another. Most likely a lot of people have had multiple topics deleted, I'd say. Though if you do stay within the rules as best you can, that shouldn't be a frequent thing whatsoever.

Hi makemoneyhere,
As a new member here, I suggest you to do more response then started your own discussion first. It is not that I discourage you from posting a discussion but it is only for you to get familiarize with mylot and the people here. In the meantime try to observe other members especially the seniors here. You can learn a lot by doing it.
One more thing is usually (not always) newbies discussions receive less responses. There are a few factors that we need to look into it.
- Guidelines violation like repeating discussion, personal link etc.
- Number of friends
- Topics
- Comments on the responses or comment back on the comment
Since starting a discussion and responding to discussion are both equally paid base on quality and posts length, it is easier for a newbies like you to concentrate on giving your responses.
But if you had something to say or want to share some knowledge or experiences, you can make your own discussion BUT please make sure your discussion is inline with guidelines.
You have done a good job by checking your discussion with the guidelines before you posting it
. Just make sure you follow it. If your discussion was deleted, not only your earnings will be deducted (if mylot already paid it) your responder and commenter earnings will deducted too. This would give a bad impression of you. Your rating (you will have it once you reach your 100th post) would dropped too. This is also not good for your earnings.
