Im unsure but everytime I drink or eat a milk product my stomach muscles camp uo tightly and I get bad diarea sometimes. Im planning on going to see my doctor but it dosnt happen enough when I eat or drink dairy products (because its only with a lot of dairy that I get that way) as it dosnt happen all the time. Have you ever wondered this? What do you suggest other than a doctor?

You could switch from regular milk to soy milk maybe. Seeing a doctor would still be a good idea, but if you don't want to spend the money on a doctor's visit for that then your bet bet would be to find substitutes for milk. If youre going to limit your milk intake, maybe try taking calcium supplements, too. I'm not lactose intolerant, so i'm no genius in this category, but you don't have to consume a lot of cow's milk if you don't want to.

Id love to switch to soy milk! I love the taste and everythign about it! Im trying to get my family to buy healthier alternatives to what we curently eat adn I just got whole wehat bread in the house! :) This is quite an accomplishment for my family. I just have to do a little bit at a time and in a few months Im going to try getting some soy milk.
Do calcium suppliments help? Or would that be the same as drinking milk?

Try Lactaid tabs or other products they make. Or switch to Silk or another soy or rice milk. I am not lactose intolerant but I hate cow's milk and think it's kind of weird that humans still consume it in 2010 when there are lots of other options and almost no one has farms or personal family cows anymore, lol.
My girlfriend is lactose intolerant. In fact, most humans are to some extent, though most people aren't to the point where they experience symptoms.
Chalk it up to a food allergy, and learn to adapt as you can :)

A nutritionist is much more need than a doctor in your case. In case you are lactose intolerant I would suggest to change to soya milk and soya products. But I am sure that a nutritionist would suggest a diet that is suitable for your requirements.

Over twnety years ago I became lactose intolerant. I had awful symptoms which started with stomach cramps and then worsened to vomiting, headaches and itching. I scratched certain parts of my arms so muc that they even ended up bleeding
I had an intolerance test and was then put on a diet for almost two years but the intolerance cleared up during that period and from then I can eat everything again. The diet was over four days. For three days I could absolutely nothing where milk or daity produce were part of the ingredients (and this includes hams). I ended up readin gall the labels on bottles and packets before buying. On the fourth day I could eat everything.
It was explained to me that our body gets 'overloaded' with a certain item of food and just can't put up with it anymore so it reacts badly when we keep eating it. Over the two years I got rid of all that was in my system and have never had problems since.

I would avoid the things I think are causing the problems and then one at a time try them again so you'll know what is causing the trouble for sure. Otherwise you'll just be guessing!
