Valentine's Day - Like or Dislike

I know, I know, I am a little late with this question, but it just came into my head and I want to hear some responses.
Do you like or dislike Valentines day? To me it's just a stupid holiday that "forces" guys and girls to get each other things and to act all "lovey" when the guys and girls should just pick their own days that are special to them instead.

I think it's fun too. Every Valentine's Day, I have no one to spend it with, maybe just with my friends. I think it's really fun, I don't know why. It seems a happy season and everyone seems happy on that day.

Hmmm... everyone seems happy on Valentines day? Interesting opinion. Because for me I went on Facebook on Valentines day and it was about half and half - half my friends were happy because their boyfriends/husbands bought them flowers or something and the other half were cursing the day. Thanks for the response! :)

I think it's fun and my boyfriend and I do celebrate it... but we don't buy in to the idea of spending a lot of money on each other too much.
Usually we just go out for breakfast or something and hang out together.. but he works afternoons/nights so I generally spend it alone anyways :) but it doesn't bother me.
I do think that couples should have their own special day (this is generally their anniversary).
I agree that it kind of makes couples (the guy especially) feel like they need to buy things and such, but sometimes it's nice to have a special day just devoted to being together. :) besides, if you're in a close relationship it's not hard to just say "hey, instead of spending money lets make dinner together and watch a movie!"

Agreed. You can make it whatever you want to make it... whether you want to celebrate a lot or just do something simple like dinner and a movie at home. Thanks for the response! :)

I very dislike with name VALENTINE"S DAY, at my live no one to make valentine day's for me. if this day come, ussually me and my girlfriends go to my home or go away from her house. I just like if moslem day's come to my live, whenever and forever. I love moslem day and dislike Valentine day's
