Thank GOD that I live in a country that believe in GOD and freedom to choose what religion to believe. But if I live in a country that does not believe in GOD existence and there is no freedom to believe, then I will stand my faith to GOD even though I have to die. Sometimes It is easy to say but It is hard to do. What about you?

I'm Anglican (a branch of Christianity), I attend church, I'm part of a youth council, I volunteer at the church regularly... but I can honestly say that, no, I would not be a martyr.

I was thinking about that today. How John was lowered into boiling oil to get him to deny Jesus. They finally took him out, and he was so deformed from the ordeal, that they took him to an Island called Patmos where he wrote the book of revelations.

If it came to a choice of either standing up and declaring myself a Christian or denying HIM to save my life, I will do the former. It would be hard because well a quick bullet would be easier, but if they torture you before they kill you, God will give me the strength to endure before they kill me. I sort of think that once persecution happens in North America the haters of Christ would much prefer the torture and make one suffer as much as possible method. they will try anything to get people to deny Christ. But it will not work. It did not work when the Christians were set on fire by torches by Nero or devoured by lions and it will not work now.
