Cleaning Tips

I am thinking about getting rid of the carpeting in my house (it is old and hard to clean) and putting down hard wood flooring. I clean everything and move things around in order to get things cleaned. I only do major cleaning once a month and weekly cleaning every Sunday. I will also be painting my bathrooms and hopefully the kitchen this spring. By the end of April I want to start planting.

hie lologirl. spring cleaning is good for all of us. its a time to review what we have. every time i do spring cleaning, i clean out something. then i put in new things. i have went through putting carpet in my hall. after 2 years, i gave away the carpets and put in straw floor mats . then i replace the straw mats with wooden floor mats. you know, these mats have a great tendency to collect dust underneath and have house mites. now all mats are out. i have the clean floor and i am happy with it as less maintenance in this area. i have clean out most of the magazines from the book shelves as i found out no body really read or refer to them again. so what for keep at home and collect dust. i packed in boxes and donate to libraries and to friends to read and recycle. next are the ratten chairs that i have. they are old and again habour housemites.need periodically to put in the sun and spray insecticides. i have trade them in and bought cotton made satees. i dont want to clutter my house with unneccessary items, especially the newspaper. every week i get rid of the newspapwers and pamphlets. my cleaning tip is its easy to clean and maintain a well ventilated home when we have basic furnitures and do away with cluttering. so far, my family is with me on this. i am happy on this, lologirl.
