I just remembered one of my most embarrassing moments in high school. Oh that was so funny. Well, it was during our lunch time. We were fooling around with my classmates. I can't remember what was it all about but, it came to a point when we were like having a tug-of-war. And, suddenly, I fell down just like a trunk when cut-off by a logger. I fell straight to the ground with my face down. I was really mortified. My classmates were all shocked with what happened. They pitied me but somehow they were about to laugh. Seeing their faces, I became brave and laughed at the incident. And everyone laughed at me. They were teasing me and all. My uniform was dirty afterwards. How about you? Do you have the same experience to share?

The only experience I can kind of remember. I was climbing on the monkey bars, and in those days, girls had to wear dresses. And one of the boys, crawled underneath me and began chanting..."I see London, I see France, I see someone's underpants". I was so embarassed, I fell on him and started beating him, until the teacher pulled me off. I was 6 and ran away from school that day. (One of many times I ran away from school...I always got "found" and sent back.)

Yes, the boys use to "sing" it every time you came down a slide, played on the monkey bars, etc. I was usually chasing them, trying to beat them up...

gambamarcela hi I was a young nurse's aide, my second day at work I was sent to bring up to the second floor two ladies, one who going to surgery for appendicitis, the other lady was having a hysterectomy. I got downstairs and found the two couples, one couple looked to be about the same age, the other the lady was maybe 20 and her partner was in his 60's. so I go to the first couple, and ask their names, to verify I have the right lady, and then to the couple who appear to be father and daughter, and I said, you must be Miss Adams then and this is your father? oh oh. He turned red and snapped at me,No I am her husband Sam Adams, this is my wife". Now I know I was red from head to toe. I apologized profusely but the man just glared at me. So I took them up to the second floor and helped each lady to the correct room. Still embarrassed I just had to go down in flames. I said to the couple who were so far apart in age, then you must be the young lady who is having the appendectomy?" further stupidity on my part. She laughed, " NO no I had mine out two years ago,. NO I am having a hysterectomy." I apologized, helped her to bed and wanted to sink to the floor in embarrassment. I had goofed all the way. After the men left, I was sent to get them ready for surgery. I apologized to each lady. I learned that the lady with the older husband had had an injury as a child that had made it impossible for her to have children, and then she had an accident that had injured her uterus so badly she had to have it removed. I did feel so sorry for her as she was newly married and had told me how badly she felt because she could never bear children. We became friends after that, and often she would come by and take me out to dinner. but that first meetingwas one total embarrassment for me.

LMAO. If I were in your shoes, I would also think the same way. "...and this is your father?" What a cute funny mistake. BTW, I feel sorry for that lady, she can't bear child anymore. Anyway, thanks for sharing your embarrassing work experience.

I would say music. Music has always been a big part of my life, and I remember when I was in high school, I so love music lessons each time. The interaction between the music teacher and us students, and nothing too mortifying, only been asked to sing can be a pretty embarrassing situation in school last time. And my classmates would have the 'con of the day' or for that particular music period. And when being asked questions, we would try to compete with one another, on music notes, title of the songs and all that. It was fun, school was fun..I miss it very much.

I had a similar experience but thank goodness it was early morning and there weren't many people. My mom and I were walking to the spot where jeeps stop. Early on our way, I was walking on the side walk. I was going off the sidewalk when half of my right foot hit the elevated part of the sidewalk. I got off balanced and fell like that, the tree with its half cut off. I had a very large wound and I got to the clinic before attending class (I got late because of it ) Another incident was when I was going to meet my schoolmates and teacher (we had an extra-curricular activity) at the then Fiesta Carnival near Araneta Coliseum. When I got off the jeep, I don't know why or how but I just dropped literally on my knees like a kneeling position. The spot where I got off had a really bad roadwork (fault of either Maynilad or Manila water trying to fix the underground pipes but can't seem to restore how the road looked like before they dug in). I ended up with a really bad sprain and really swollen ankle, the size of a tennis ball I presume. Even though it was painful, I just went on and had fun with my friends at the carnival. I even rode the roller coaster, Viking/the swaying boat, and bump car as if nothing happened.
