Is Ancellotti the one to blame for Chelsea's bad moment?

Chelsea went out from Champions last week due to Inter's (and Mourinho) wonderful game. In these last weeks Chelsea couldn't keep its first place in the league and at the moment it is third behind Arsenal and Manchester United. Is Ancellotti to blame for that, is it the team or just a bad moment? I believe Chelsea players need to find motivations again after the elimination and Ancellotti is a good psychologist... At least he was it went he trained AC Milan.

I think you're right with the injuries. The same think has recently happened to Milan, with Pato, Nesta and Bonera, and Beckham out for months and... Milan is definitely playing bad since defense and attack are lacking quality.

I am not a big fan of blaming the coach for every loss against any opponent. I think coaching is a long time activity and the result has to be perceived on the longer run. I think Ancellotti has just taken over this job this year. He is getting a feel of the English game. Give him one year for that and assess him in the next year. I think Chelsea has been below par for the past few matches and players do not seem to be up for crucial matches. Cheers! Ram

maybe he can do it already this year. I still believe Ancellotti can win the league now he can focus only on it. I'm sure he has already understood the way they play in England and will take advantage from his Italian experience to find a good balance 'till the end of the championship and make as many poiint as possible.

Hi Nemonezonicamidecus, Chelsea might on their bad moment but I think it is only temporary. Chelsea is a strong team with a good manager/coach. We can not blame them for not win at Blackburn as we all knew Blackburn style of play. Even though they (Blackburn) is only a mid table team, they aggressive style of play make them harder to beat especially at Ewood Park. They might also still feel the pain being thrown out from Champion League competition by their former coach team. If they could win against Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge, they could get their momentum back to face Manchester United at Old Trafford.
