Please tell me the Climax. I need to know

I just went to my neighbour's house for a chat and found her daughter watching the movie "P.S. I Love You". The storyline was the movie was great but I was just glued to the TV. As it was about to get over the movie suddenly stopped coz it did not get recorded fully that is just after she goes to her mother crying and her mother comforts her and tells her lets go for a walk.
I am desperate to know the climax of the movie as it is really late and I feel my head will burst if I do not know the climax.
So please can someone let me know the ending. What happens does she remarry? Who actually keeps sending her the letters from Gerry her husband?

The mother and daughter go walk through the park and the mother is just talking about the father (he left) and the daughter asks the mom if she thinks the dad will ever come back, and the mom says no.
Then the mom gives the daughter one last note from Gerry (that's the surprise, the mom was helping her daughters late husband by delivering the letters). The note is basically just telling her to continue to live her life and be happy.
Then the mother and daughter go to Scotland to see Gerry's home town. While there they happen upon her new love interested (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and his father...and it kind of hints at their parents starting a relationship while their kids are.
Does that all make sense!? lol
