Professional Piano Tuners: Where/How do You Recommend We Learn...?

My husband is considering going into piano tuning. From what he has read, it sounds like most tuners learn from correspondence/online courses. Have you found this to be the case? Which correspondence/online course do you recommend? And what is a reasonable amount to expect to pay for the course? Are you familiar with anyone in the NJ/Philly area who trains people to do this? How long does it take for this type of business to take off? I'm aware that any kind of business takes time to develop. Roughly how long can we expect for him to take learning the trade and also developing the business? (We're hoping to have an advantage, as I'm a piano teacher; but business is slow for me right now even.) Thanks so much for your tips! Really hoping we'll have some professional tuners reply with helpful information! Thanks so much! ~thepianoladie, aka, artsyfartsygal
