im sure most of you guys know Facebook. thing is, i have a friend there that posts a lot of angry status messages and they re in ALL CAPS!. now i know it s not me cuz i really havent done anything wrong to her but seriously, it really annoys the heck out of me. it s said that the mood is contageous and it s true. you can really affect the people around you with the mood youre in. so why couldnt she just send a private message to that person whom she s angry with instead of spreading it to all of her friends? next time i log in im deleting that b!tch from my friends list. lol

Not that it matters now, because you said that you already deleted her, but I was just wondering if you were saying the messages were angry due to the content (what she was saying in the messages) or just because of the fact that she uses all caps. I don't know how old this person is, but there are some people that do not understand that using all caps means that they are yelling, and others say that they have a hard time reading the text so they use either bold or all caps to make things easier to read. Could that have maybe been why she was using all caps or were the messages themselves nasty, too?

The messages were nasty and they re in all caps. how would you feel reading something like this everytime you log in?

If the messages were nasty, then I would not want to read them even if they weren't in caps, but I agree that the nastiness combined with the caps does make it worse. I was just wondering and asking, because I have seen people on here get upset about other users using bold and caps, because they thought that they were being rude or shouting or whatever when really the user said that they did not realize that all caps were shouting and the caps made it easier for them to read the text. I just wanted to make sure that it was not just a misunderstanding like I have seen happen before, but the nasty words means that it definitely was not a misunderstanding, and I would not want to see something like that every day, either.

Well if she's airing anyone's dirty laundry she should be more respectful. It'd be better if she would just private message the person, but if she's going to post it on her status for all to see then maybe she should be deleted or ignored. I know I wouldn't want to see that everytime I logged in.
