well me and my hubby have! back in 1999 we got an offer to get in on the "Redbox" video rental machines and i cant remember how much it was but we had it and we passed.. now i see them every where! every mcdonalds, walgreens, etc its just a cruel reminder of not jumping in on it when i could have. but then i remind myself if we had in 99 it would have been 10 years before it took off so we would have prob quit anyways lol.. did you miss out on investing on something then see it bloom to success? is every time you see it a cruel reminder of the miss opportunity? would you have been able to wait 10 years for it to pay off?

In 1994 we were getting married. My wife had the chance to invest in her place of work (a local bank). It sounded a good investment but we had not around 3,000 to invest in shares. So I told her another opportunity might come up. Each share costed around $3. To cut the long story short her bank is a success that was bough by an international big bank, one of the top banks in the world. The bank shares shot up to $15 for some time. We could have made a quick buck if we had invested at that time. We could have tripled our money if not more. But unfortunately we could not invest at that time since we need money for more important necessary things.

Oh yeah. My father worked for the Ohio Scotts Lawn Care division, which was sold off. The guy who bought it, was a real jerk. Just a angry yeller type of person. Well, my father quit that job, and it turned out Scotts Lawn Care bought the entire division back from the guy, for multi-millions, and everyone who stuck it out with yelly screaming angry guy, ends up with tons of stock in Scotts Lawn Care, and made millions. Oh well.

That's hard to tell. I think everyone has limits on what they can withstand. We went down to a private yacht club, where one of the guys my dad worked with, had his summer cabin and yacht, at a private marina. You have to admit, he got rewarded for his abuse. Private cabin, private yacht, in a private cove. They say everything worth earning, is hard and difficult to get. Well... they went through very hard times, and got richly rewarded. My father on the other hand, went on to get his Ph.D. and became a professor at a university, left there to be a high school art teacher, and put in 38 years teaching 17-year olds how to paint. Now he's retired, has a cottage on the beach by lake Erie, and travels around the country with his wife, painting pictures and selling them to various shows. So, it's not like he is bad off. He's doing really well. I think it's true that no good thing comes without a lot of sacrifice and effort. Would I put up with screamy guy? Likely not. I don't need a yacht that bad.

I remember I was offered to become pioneer of a binary network marketing company that was soon to be launched here in the Philippines. That was more than four years ago. I rejected the offer thinking it was a scam. Unlike today, back then, most people here and the government are cynical of binary network marketing, labeling it a pyramid scam. The offer was good, but I declined the offer. As leaders in the local network marketing industry here, we were offered of financing through Maybank. They said, me and my 30 key downline leaders were to be financed by Maybank, my entry fee and the entry fees of my downline leaders. We rejected the offer. Today, I saw Vitaplus skyrocketed and those who have positioned early are now millionaires. I now only see them in brochures reading their success stories. If only, I said to myself... I did not expect the government and the people today will more open-minded to binary network marketing unlike before.

i have never invested any of my money into any site. i am not into spending money to earn money. i think that there are many better ways to earn than investing. but that is just my opinion on it.
