We can escape heart attack by laughing everyday and it is prescribed by the doctor too, so I think laughing is a remedy to itself, some says we even lose fats when we constantly laugh so everyone has a point of view and as far as the matter is worth laughing I do.

I think there is alot of truth in this old saying. Whenever I feel sad or down these's nothing works better than having a good laugh to lift my spirits. A happy mind makes a healthy body. When you are happy you have more energy, more get up and go.
So yes laughter is the best form of medicine.
But a doctor can also help

In some situation only it act as a best medicine.I think only those people can laugh,if their life is running smoothly with out any problem. But by laughing we can forget all our problems for a short period of times. In that sense it is acting as a best medicine.

You know, this does not apply to all. Laughing is the best medicine for those who are generally bored, sad and lonely. Maybe too, it is a remedy to strengthen friendship and family ties. Though, as you say it, this is not advisable to those who have heart defects.

hello sarameastrong.
affirmative yes with a capital 'Y'. i believe that laughter is the best medicine.
even the thought of laughter or anticipating one releases a chemical called endorphin in the body.
endorphins are natural pain-killers. they contribute to the general well-being of a person. they contribute to the health of our hearts too. endorphins make us healthy. we normally we feel good after a good laugh, have we.
