Which is the best pc action game ever?

I came across and played a lot of pc action games. I love to play them. It's so interesting. But it's still hard to say which is the best one I love the prince of persia series and half life series. There are a lot other too, i am confused. what do you think?.

My fav pc action game is Call of Duty. It's a great first person shooter game that I ever played. Although there are much great pc action game.
I like the scenario of the game in Call of Duty and the latest Call of Duty series I played is Modern Warfare 2. It has more improvement in the game than the first one. I hope that there will be the third episode of Modern Warfare.

Well there have been many games that can be great nominees. But as far as my experience is concerned, here are the winners.
PC - Call of Duty Series
PS2 - God of War
XBOX 360 - Halo

Hey arunvenu,
It depends what you like to play. There are a variety of different games. I personally prefer first person shooter games such as the Call Of Duty franchise, Crysis, and even although an old game : Counter Strike. Though my personal favorite is call of duty. Anyways if you like fighting games there is Tekken 6 - simple yet entertaining and if you have a large stomach :) - God Of War.
Basically when you tell me action - war games and fighting games usually come in mind. You can check out the trailer of any of these games on you tube.
