Hi guys, Have you ever had any luck finding a lover with online dating. How long did the relationship go. Did the person hid things from you, or refused to give pic until you met? What happened after you met :)

I've tried it once but it turned out bad. I've been chatting with this girl, emails, social networks and even texting. She told me then, after a year of virtual friendship, that she fell for me. But when we scheduled to meet and came face to face, i've found out that she was a relative. She's my second cousin. I told her it won't work but she insisted. She's beautiful that I couldn't resist. So we continued and became lovers. When my grandmother found out, they were angry and seperated us. We tried to fight for our love but we failed at the end. We gone seperate ways. Until now, she is single. We see each other but we don't talk. I know she's hurting. I can see it in her eyes. I'm longing for her too. But there's nothing we ca do anymore.

hey! i've thought that online dating totally sucks and its not possible for anyone to find someone for a serious relationship. but seeing the comments for ur discussion i am surprised that people have successful relationship which started online :) personally i've never opted for that as i can't trust someone sitting behind a computer in some other country.

I was curious about this matter online dating. Many of my friends told me that they had chat mate and at the end they see each other in person. They got friends from other country and at the end others are successful to their dates and others are not like they hid their natural identity. Somebody are serious and they say true. One of my friend told me that after they meet they are planning to get married which become real. there are true and sometimes not or just lie. Have a nice day!

I have been dating someone I met online for 15 years now and last year we bought a house together. It was a really good experience, but I was careful and took it slow. The toughest thing about online dating, in my experience, was the fact that it is addicting and some of the people want to continue chatting with other people even after they are in a relationship. If they can break away and settle with one person it is great. It has been good for me being able to meet someone who is so compatible with me.

When I was in early of my 20's I tried to go on online dating. After a long run it didn't turn out good or as what we planned. Lots of circumtances and factors that hinders us not to go on. Until we are both tired and give up. It didn't last for long, in fact I haven't meet him in person. But we both shared pictures, contact numbers both from work and home and we even meet both families. We could be both together now if we are just strong enough to handle a long distance relationship.

hello. I've met a lot of people online and I met a special one. WE never hid anything from each other and I guess that made us trust each other well. We knew each other for a while then he told me he likes me and I fell for him. We remained "Lovers" online for a couple of years then decided to meet up. Right now we are still together and getting stronger. We are actually getting married this year after 5 years of knowing each other.
