Facebook Versus Friendster

If yes, what is the purpose of your Facebook account? If no, why? Almost everyone has one, why don't you have one? Facebook outdid Friendster here in the Philippines. All of a sudden Facebook is the talk of the town, and if you don't have an account you are not "in". Or if you still have Friendster, and you still update it instead of Facebook, then you are so not "hip" and you live in the years between the 90's and 2008. What can you say about Friendster and Facebook?

i do not have a friendster account but i have a facebook account and that is good. i like facebook so much and i am addicted to it. i can be online for hours! for days! if i can, and just use facebook and no other site and i would still be happy and smiling.

That, starrfish, is what you call addiction. You should get out more often than facing your computer twenty four hours, seven days a week. Just a friendly advice.

Facebook is a social network and from the definition itself, I simply use it to network with my businesses. Same with Friendster. I used them for reasond like marketing my programs and businesses.

my purpose of my facebook account is to be in touch with my family, friends and relatives, its keeps us updated in our daily life basis and its good to be talking and chatting with them. facebook is much better than friendster because facebook is much fun and exciting it has games and applications so people wont get bored. friendster is down today heheh... almost all like facebook. have a nice day!

Is it really down? I mean their server is down? That's some news. I haven't seen Friendster for two years now. I'll check it for myself tomorrow. I have an account there. So if Friendster is already down, then all accounts are deleted now.

There's something about Facebook that keeps you coming back. There's a clean look on it, pure, safe, something like that. I just don't know how to describe it. Hehehe.

You are right. There are so much applications to choose from. It is truly a one stop social network site. I use it, just as you have said, to keep in touch with my family and friends. I have some games where I am loyal at but I have not played them for quite some time now. I am busy with my offline games instead, and work.

Among the social network sites nowadays, Facebook is far more better from the rest. But I guess there'll be another site that will beat Facebook, maybe someday.
