what medicine you purchase from the chemist?

when you go to the chemist do you purchase the medicines substitute to the prescribed onew or if chemist says to you for the substitute having the same salts!what to do then?willthey prove ok!what do you say?

Well i purchase things required for my first aid box. And antiseptics and ointments and headache tablets.
