We all know lawsuits are flying like crazy over the mandate. But lets look at a past time when state laws conflicted with federal laws and see what came of it.
California voters decide they wanted to legalize medical marijuana in their state. But the federal law outlaws it out together. California stood its ground and told the feds they has the right to do it. Lawsuits were flying then too.Sence then other states have passed similar laws legalizing medical marijuana. The federal law has not changed. What HAD changed is how the feds enforce their law....now in states that IS legal (decided by the voters of that state) the feds do not enforce the federal law against anyone with a doctors preciption for it.
So in those states the state law supercedes the federal law. The same principal applies here...in the states that have a law saying it is illegal to require you to have health insurance...the state law will supercede the federal mandate requiring you to have it.
What do you think?
