Man and woman in Mylot, what's your definition of "happiness"? I known there is at least a dozen of meaning for people to define what happy really is to them, so after you give us your definition, please also tell us how you plan to go about achieve it; also tell us how important "happiness" is to your set of priority whether it is the number one, or two or whatever number of important goals you are set to achieve during your life time, or whether you don't care much about having happiness in your life at all, it is just some kind of myth that never exist in a real world. Thank for sharing with all of us here, hope you can be candid about this sensitive topic if you may ....lol!!!

There are two kind of happiness (with me). I'm not saying that these apply to all others too, but that they do apply to me. The first kind of happiness is when I get something new or cool like a new iPod or Mac.. The second kind of happiness is when I hear about my family being okay, and that they are safe (especially if they are in a dangerous area).

Happiness is something I,myself is not sure what really it is. I sometimes ask myself too the same thing with you. I've got a good job and good pay but it isnt what I can call happiness. I had love, a stable relationship but it isnt everything for the word happiness. I guess I couldn't find it in only one thing, but it might be a part of it.

Hi, eng....reading all these definitions here, i think happiness is like a whole picture make up of different elements like having emotional satisfaction, enough of monetary possession, sufficient material needs, stable and loving relationship; good job, and may be a few more in totality or in a single piece, then that is 'happiness', individual had different standard what it is due to different need and want......haha... Hope i am not confusing you. Thank for sharing here.....happy mylotting !!

happiness is a word that is much more good to hear and very much good to see to every one, in this real world sadness is equal to happiness. We love to have it and we always want to be happy..

So sadness is equal to happiness in your view as far as man world is concerned, that is weird, i haven't meet anyone that is happy when he is fill with sadness...hahaha... Thank for the response.

happiness is the word which define the person who is satisfied and grateful to god for those things which has been given to him by god and just dont get jealous of tensed for those things which he does not have. so its simple to be happy it is needed to enjoy those things which you already have and dont just worry for those things which you dont have.

Happiness for me is when you sleep well at night,being able to go and be with anyone without anything to worry about. Doesnt need to be perfect because theres no such thing but when your content with what you have and feel good with whom your with then i believe thats what you call happiness ;)

I think any emotion would be defined differently by different people. I guess happiness is something that makes a person feel good because something is right in life? It doesn't necessary have to be achievements, it could be seeing a rainbow and enjoying nature or it could be being with family and enjoying their company. I think the most happiest people are those that let everything bring them joy like people who are happy simply for waking up in the morning. Smiling

I think you are right, anime.., anything that make us feel good will make us happy. It is reported in a scientific research finding that when human feeling good, the level of good serotonin also rises in our brain, that contributed to our happiness, there is an interconnected element between both. Thank for sharing...

happiness is just easy to get. well for me that is. a simple smile from my wife and maybe a sexy wink to go with it har har har, a hug from my child and he telling me he loves me. he is going to school now and his teacher always tells him good job seven, so now he uses that word to me good job daddy har har har, that made me really happy. this simple happiness touch our hearts no matter what crisis we havea t hand, no matter how heavy our problems at the moment this simple gestures and simple ways make us happy and makes us erase a moment of depression.

At least everyone here is happy for you, bird happiness is easy for you to get. Also laughing is a sign that tell me you are quite happy right now by responding to my discussion and sharing your secret with everyone in mylot, we all can also get happiness daily too by having discussion with friends in here....hahaha.... happiness..hmm.. yep there are dozen of happiness meaning, either for me lol..Happiness is being and live with people we loved the most, able to watch them growth, able to know and to see whatever happens in their life and being a part of it in good and bad time..Able to play with my cats everyday, having a job that we really need and enough for us, being able to go for travelling when we need it, and the most is.. being grateful 'cause God already give us this life and let us enjoy each second..

Hi, shalli... you have many ways to get 'happiness' , it is nice to know that. You must be surrounded by happiness everyday since you have a dozen of meanings. We are happy for you too...haha... Thank for sharing with us and remember to stay happy all the time if you can.
