Natural calamities are becoming very frequent these days mostly created by human being themselves. The greed for wealth has caused human beings to destroy nature and cause imbalance which then becomes reasons for natural calamities like earth quakes.Have you any expereince of any natural calamity like earth quakes, tsunami, cyclone etc and if you had then how was your expereince? Yes Preethaanju, many a times I encountered a natural calamities like earthquake, storm, heavy rain, flood, etc. Typhoons bring with them heavy rains that cause floods and landslides in Philippines, my sister resides there and it was just a breathe throat moment for us. It is true that environmental mismanagement can be a factor in a disaster, as when a flood is worsened by rampant deforestation in the watershed, as has occurred in China. China today is well aware of the problem and there are many programs discussing reforestation projects. In my place, once there was a flood and I've seen people dying for helping someone they havent even met. The distribution of fruits, biscuits to those stranded by college students and the local residents is a sight which brings tears in my eyes and I am proud to be a part of this city.

hi preethaanju, I always encountered natural calamity. Our country always experience typhoon. If you are familiar with typhoon Ondoy, that is the typhoon I cannot forget. It is because we experienced a very big flood and all our things in home float. And there are also some people who climb to the roofs of their houses just to save themselves on the flood. Those scenes are really frightening. It seems as if the end of the world is soon to come. Those high places that we never thought will be reached by flood were reached by flood. People not only lost their properties but their lives as well because some was drowned. And from that experienced many gained a lesson. But I hope they will not forget that lesson typhoon Ondoy left to us. As of now, we are not experiencing any rain. We are not suffering from extreme heat. I believe that is one effect of climate change. Agriculture industry had been greatly affected by the El NiƱo phenomenon. It is so sad that because of the self interest of other people, many are suffering. I hope it won't be too late for those selfish people like the illegal loggers and others to change.
