My all time favorite writer is John Grisham, I really like his books and followed his books. My favorite one is the "The client", i was so thrilled with the story and i could not stop reading it. So I just read the book for 1 day only. While I am eating the book is infront of me and I still keep on reading it. I dont want to stop it as the story is really so exciting and when I finished it i still want more..

John Grisham isn't my favorite writers but he is one of the writers that I love. I agree that his books are thrilling. I've had the same experience of starting to read any of his novels and not wanting to stop until I've finished it. John Grisham is a wonderful storyteller.

Yes I agree with you rinzga, good evening. He has this skills and make his books more exciting even in the other books he has. You really would not dare to stop it because the excitement will be lost if you stop it. That is why you really keep on reading it even if you have something to do.

My favorite writer (at the moment) is J.D. MacHale. He is the author of the Pendragon series which I know is for kids, but I think the man is brilliant. He really knows how to tell a story and convey whatever moral lesson he is trying to while not detracting from the story or making it seem preachy. I've been telling people that if I could write one book like him I could die a happy person. I'm only kidding a little bit. While J.D. MacHale my favorite author right now, it's subject to change as it already has three times this year.

I have several favs actually such as Christopher Moore, Lama Surya Das, Nikki Giovanni, Maya Angelou, Ted Andrews, Jamie Samms, Clive Barker and many more...Why do I like them...I like their writing styles, their story lines (in the case of fiction), the way they explain or describe things (in the case of non-fiction) and so on....
