still NO Irfan Pathan in the squad for the world cup

hi friends.
[b]the 15 member squad for the world cup next month is announced and only a few surprising inclusions like piyush chawla and vinay kumar .
thats actually very funny considering amit mishra is more economical and takes more wickets than chawla and ofcourse the more experienced.
then vinay kumar who gives those crucial break throughs for the RCB in this year IPL and the selectors got fooled.
he is running on his luck this year and will run out very soon.
but why no Irfan Pathan?
you say he is not in form?
is yuvraj in the form of his life?
is ashish nehra even fully fit?
that guy proved he is more than handy with the bat which we cannot say about our other quickies and he is good bowler.remember he is the reason why kings XI won atleast one match.
has the selectors got anything against irfan pathan?
even harsha bogle agrees with me but not the selectors.
dont be surprised if we get knocked out from the first round itself[/b]

I think the problem with Pathan is that he has had a real bad year or so in terms of his bowling performance. He simply seems to have lost all confidence in his bowling. That is the reason he is finding it difficult to get into the team. The other problem is that he is having a poor IPL in terms of bowling. Also, I do not think Vinay will get a single game unless somebody is injured.

Yes this time we have missed him in T20 World cup team. I think losing a good and experience all rounder in this kind of tournament will surely cause some problem to Indias winning in T20 World cup

Indeed, Amit Mishra and Irfan Pathan deserved selection. I have not been following IPL this year closely, yet I do not feel that Piyush Chawla has done anything outstanding. Still, let us see how India fares in this year's T 20 World Cup.

Also, Robin Utthapa as well as Manish Pandey have not been selected. One of these folks could also have been taken into the squad.

he is in very good form .
For t20 allrounders are more preffered.
He is a very good all rounder.
but selection commity is avoiding irfan.
he is in such a good form,he should have taken to the squad.

Yes,India will surely miss Irfan and Uthappa too..
But one thing Vinay kumar is of not worth, I think.He know to put only short balls and not any other.Irfan Pathan can swing and also can bat.These selectors are gone mad.They even missed Uthappa.Without giving chance how he can prove himself.Stupid selection for this T20.
Piyush chawla can be given chance.He is good.Amit also a good bowler but he can be given chance...anyway lets hope the best...
