Nowadays, Internet helps in different areas like: 1. To find a job. (If you are looking for a job, you can reach more companies where to send your CV as most of the companies a on Internet. There you can find their website, emailadress, telephone and fax number... . So you can save a lot of time using the search engine instead of going out of home to go personally to the companies. You also save paper as you don't print any more the letter and CV for the companies!) 2. Save time studying, so you can study more. (Plenty of studies, courses, carreers, can be done online, at home, at any time. Having any doubts, you can contact teachers, other students or just search information in the search engines. Online studies are often cheaper than presential courses. You also can register in the carreer you want online, so you save in time, money and paperwork!) 3. Banking easier and faster. (You don't need anymore to rest in a queue in any bank office to wait until the lady behind the desk will be able to attend you. Through Internet, you are able to realize almost everything without moving from your home. Except printing your money, of course!) 4. Yeah. Internet helps a lot. It's so powerful that even banks and military rely on it nowadays. Do you know what's the Internet's No.1 weakness? The computer relies on power which is electricity. Try remove electricity and this modern world will stop moving. If I am a terrorist, if I want a global terror, I must aim on shutting down all sources of electric power, and boom! The world stops down...

The internet's main power is the fact that any bit of information can be transferred in a near instant, thus being able to network with other people just got so much easier.
